Cueva del Chicken Inn, Hato Rey Central

Located in the Hato Rey district, this is a traditional lunch choice for the business crowd, and a dinner option for everyone! Despite the name one of it's specialties is pizza. However, here you'll taste the one of the best Chicharrones de Pollo (deeply fried chicken) in San Juan, and quite possibly the entire island. Service is good and the regulars love to spend hours in the bar. Try the Churrasco Filet or the Asopao de Camarones, heavy shrimp and rice soup. Save room for delicious Flan de Coco for dessert. This inn is known also for its excellent pizza and great bar. With an interior designed to replicate a cave, the restaurant takes on a grotto appearance.
