El Bohio, Cabo Rojo

First time in the restaurant and the service, the food ,the price and the view was excellent . I'll be back again but with the whole family!!! Try the piña colada with midori , mmmmmmm

My family and I visited El Bohio Restaurant in Cabo Rojo, PR and we decided for each to order different plates to find out the quality and taste of some of the plates they have to offer. The quality and taste was excellent. Because we went on a regular Sunday, we had no problem waiting for nothing. In fact, we are planning to have a family dinner there pretty soon.

service is slow but the wait is worthest. If you go don't go on a holiday specially San Valentine or Mother's day because you will never get a chair

I'm a health industry bussinessmen from NYC who travels to PR 4 times a year and one of the favorite things I like to do is to try hometown food wherever I go. Sea Food, steaks, Latin American cuisine, Thai, Sushi, Mediterranean cuisine, all as examples. When I go to Puerto Rico, being more specific, to the west side of the island I always go tho Rest. El Bohio. I'ts been one of my favorite seafood places for almost 20 years. I consider both, the food and the service are excellent. I feel so sorry for the person who thinks his or her experience was horrible. Mao Seafood is good too, but for people who don't know the chef and the waiters are from the same family so you may have an alike experience. El Bohio is simply the best.We go there frequently and have never yet dissapointed with anything we have ordered.The beef and the seafood are spectacularly good and the portions are great.El Bohio is an unadvertised hidden treasure of Puerto Rico.-unadvertised because the place is packed with people who have been going there within their family for literally generations upon generation.You see, El Bohio is has been opened since 1950's and it's all genuine.Don't miss this restaurant it is a never to be forgotten experience.Now one of the family member also have a restaurant call Maos and is good but never the same of this old father recipes.... This place have excellent food, but awful service. It's been one of my favorite places to eat because of the food. But I decided not to go again because it takes a good half an hour to get your bill and pay. It's been like that for years. I found another restaurant close by called MAO, it has the same quality of food and way better service.

The food was fantastic fresh seafood and the ambience with the ocean view was gorgeous!!!You can watch the fishes all around the bay during your dinner.... Thanks Tita for all your attentions

This place is amazing.The ambient is very nice the view in front of the ocean is fantastic and food was fresh and delicious.We ordered lobster in butter with tostones and it was yummy!The price was acceptable and the staff was very helpful.I met the new Manager Carmen and she was very helpful with us.I defenitly reccommend this place. Highly recommended!!!!
