Pizzeria Uno, the famous American franchise, has made an impact in the Puerto Rican dining scene with its excellent service and trendy Chicago-style offerings. Granted, this is a cookie cutter franchise, but it's a proven smash in the mainland and just as popular here. Known as the home of the original deep-dish pizza, this place won't disappoint. Great for families.
The expericence in San Juan was the same as any other Uno restaurant. The food was just what I epxected - the cost was reasonable. Saturday for a late lunch is very loud - loads of high school kids who are all having a great time but very loud. Wait staff tried very hard to keep up with the demand. Only distraction to the experience was the ladies room ceiling leaking during the rain storm making it a hazzard.
