Plaza Cataluña, Santo Domingo

This mall belongs to a group of exclusive shopping centers built with Spanish style architecture and each named for a region of Spain. Among the businesses located here is a medical laboratory, an electronics store, a bank with ATM machines and shops selling men's, women's and children's clothing and accessories. A real treat is the bakery where they serve wonderful bocadillos (sandwiches served on French-style bread). Other shops include Pininos, Posthumous Cafe, Bankagil and others. The shopping center is pleasing to the eye, with its brick-colored roof tiles and other Spanish-style ornamentation.
