Pat´e Palo European Brasserie, Santo Domingo

I just went there for a business lunch on March 2011 and we had a magnificent time. The food was amazing, the restaurant was gorgeous and the ambiance is all there. I would recommend eating here at sundown or night time in an outdoor table so you can take in the view of the Plaza de Espana, the Alcazar de Colon and the sea port behind it

They failed to deliver what they offer by the menu

I know this place now for several years and when I'm in Santo Domingo with VIP guests this is the place where I go with them and never had any negative comment. I'm a VIP tour operator in the Dominican ( Puerto Plata)and I recommend this place to all the people who know's what is good food + good time.

I went to this restaurant last night with friends. It was my first time, and I absolutely loved it. Dining outside overlooking Plaza Alcazar de Colon was quite the setting. The food was wonderful and the wine amazing. We got to meet the owner and the chef - both very nice people. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and I am definitely coming back...maybe also to try one of the other restaurants right next door. There are 7 restaurants located right next to each other in this area, and they all looked to be full...a good sign of good food, service, atmosphere, etc. If you are in the Colonial Zone, you have to go here!
