Lumi's Park, Santo Domingo

This is a beautiful, cozy outdoor restaurant where guests dine in public squares that are decorated with lights and surrounded by plants, trees and flowers. Romantically lit tables are located in the midst of the vegetation. The house specialty, a favorite of both locals and tourists, is the Mofongo, a dish consisting of fried green bananas, garlic and pork. The menu also features grilled meats, the traditional Sancocho Dominicano, and local beverages and natural juices, all of which can be enjoyed to the sounds of live music.
