Description

Golf, whether as a pastime or serious sport, requires peaceful and pleasant surroundings. These and more can be found at the Havana Golf Club. After a round, visitors can either soothe away all the tensions of the game in the swimming pool, or brag about their hole-in-one at the bar, where each member has a personalised glass. Eating options include a barbecue lunch, or dinner in a fine restaurant. If your companions do not share your passion for swinging the clubs, they can either play tennis on one of the five courts available, or take to the bowling green.

Traditional golf in a great city.

Club de Golf Havana is an old 9 hole course. The conditions are rough and it lacks the finely manicured appearance of Varadero or most of the courses in the states. The sand traps could use abit more sand and the flag sticks are just that, sticks. However if you love golf, love a challenge and are okay with the heat, it is a great adventure. I currently live in Havana and play the course as often as I can. The people are courteous and friendly. The restaraunt is outstanding (in my opinion). 18 holes of golf will cost you 30 dollars. A caddy will cost you 6 if you need one (not a bad idea in the heat. There are no riding carts. Club and pull cart rentals are available. Come to Havana and challenge your game!

it was good but not my favorit. in the summer. people who like golf.it was not cheep.it was very very very very very very very very very very FUN FUN FUN.
