Electronic instruments, used as a medium for creating music, are the starting point for a whole range of sound effects. The main objective of the annual 'Springtime in Havana' festival, is to bring together around fifty musicians and experts from all over the world, so as to offer a multimedia production combining music with dance, painting, song, and actors who make sounds via their gestures. This is not only an occasion for experimentation, but also to take private, specialised work into public places. This event also offers the chance to air work by prestigious centres such as the 'Bourges Institute'. It takes place in March.
