Inspired by Thailand's rich and exotic heritage, Phuket FantaSea is a unique cultural complex. It showcases the charm and beauty of Thailand, while enriching ancient Thai traditions with the wonder of cutting-edge technology and special effects. The result is a stunning 140-acre theme complex offering a multitude of activities. Highlights include the festival village, the Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant (a 5,000-seat restaurant offering a grand buffet of Thai and international cuisines) and a breathtaking Las Vegas-style show, which starts at 9pm.
The way this place makes money is 3 fold, first you have to walk through a long line of shops before getting to the resturant/show building. second they give you too much time to eat, enought time to shop. and finally they make the food WAY TOO SPICY! and then sell you drinks at 4 times the market value.
I recomend only the show. It is all dancing and very few lines of dialog. Sort of boring if you ask me but I'm not into the big stage productions. Only a few scenes with elephants.
The other cool thing about this place was the buildings were big and detailed. They have a Elephant palace. That makes it look like Elephants are Gods in Thailand.
Well ! we had a nice and pleasant time when we visited this park lately. Staffs are well trained together with their friendliness. They are very helpful and efficient with dealing with guests. Buffet line was incredible, they were so many dishes that we could not even taste all of them. Plenty of game for kids during waiting for the show. The park was quite large and the show was fantastic. we could not believe that this show was created by the local Thai Creator.Castings are from local only, and they did a very good job on the show. The theater itself was really stunning when we looked at it.
If we return again to Thailand , we will definetely go back there again. We really recommend to anybody who plan to visit Thailand and Phuket to go there.
Felt nauseous during the whole show at tacky and noisy Broadway-ised display of Thai "culture" -- this is NOT culture. To get to the show one is forced to wade through an appalling arcade of money-grubbing stalls reminiscent of U.K. seasides. The architecture was a dreadful panache of murky ancient kingdom meets murkier elephant pen. Magic tricks dumb, jokes dumber. Watch out for running chickens and birds pooping from overhead during torturous 90-minute show - ever hear of bird flu, management?
i loved all the place specially the show and the elephants i loved every rhing in it really it was mon my honey moon and i really didnt want to go to the hotel.the food is great, the show is unbelievable .i think the honeymooners will defintly have a good time and ithink all even if you took your child with you you will have a great timeall my friend i recommended and they went and said the same thing it was great.
I went Pukhet last week. Its beautifull specially Phuket Fantansia is excellent out class entertainment. The cultural show, food, buffet, elephants, dances, magic, games, specially shooting :,people,rain,decor..... and much more which i can't describe but i can remember in my memories. It was wonderfull evening with lots of activities of enjoyment. so everyone who is going there don't miss it.
I enjoyed the show with the local Thai people allowing us to see their culture. The amazing many elephants and the re-enactment of the events of Thailand's history was performed upon a 'hugh'stage. All seating allowed for a perfect view.Take bottled water with you and cameras are not allowed and will be required to be left at the door before the show.
A wonderful lively experience. Rate; A+
Unfortunately, in the restaurant, the overpowering number of people, approx 4000, was not such a pleasant experience. Considering also that there was a limited time to enjoy the buffet meal.
I felt that in future I would forgo the meal. rate;B
This must be the tackiest place in Phuket. It was a bit of fun, good for a laugh. Interesting to see all the transvestites in all the acts outside the theatre. Show wasn't bad. I don't think I'd go again but it's worth checking out at least once.
Expensive show for what it is. Mostly a Thai cultural show with a not terribly good magic show thrown in.
The whole show somehow doesn't gel together.
Good architecture in the minipark.
Overall poor value
If you like Thai culture or you just want to see something exotic but "Brodway style" just go there. The best show I ever saw in my life...great to also go with the family. TIP: You can not enter with videocams or cameras inside the show.
