don't know why people knock this show, to me it is a must see!!! dinner and show package, buffett dinner, great food, show tops any in vegas that i have seen, acrobats coming from the ceiling, elephants on stage, great costumes etc. Yes they have the outside trying to get you to buy etc. But you don't have to buy anything, just enjoy the show!

THE OUT SIDE IS LOTS OF FUN AND REALLY GOOD FOR KIDS BUT THE SHOW IS VERY OVER RATTED DO NOT BUY THE PROGRAM IT'S A TOTAL RIP OFF

To be honest there is no dislikes about this place, we will be going again in March next year and we will go and see and do everything we done the last time, it is just the most amazing place on earth, words can not explain the island. The trip to phuket for our honeymoon was worth every cent, there is so much to do and see, when there you dont just sit around and do nothing there is to much to see than to sit around and do nothing. I wish that I had bought more clothes and stuff cause everything there is not affordable but cheap, great place to shop.

I went there on my honeymoon, the atmosphere was amazing, starting from the shopping area where we bought nice souvenirs and there was an area where you can play games until the show starts it was so much fun. We booked the show with dinner, the dinner was amazing it had lots of variety of Thai food and all tasted great, then we head to the show it was one of the best I’ve seen, very impressive I can say. The whole evening in Phuket Fantasea was one of the best nights in Phuket and I and my husband will never forget the fun we had that night.

This show was like a theme park trying to get you to buy everything- the only impressive thing was the elephants- everything else was pretty cheesy. Definitely does not meet a high caliber standard in performance(timing off etc) however the costumes were pretty good and some of the cultural dances were good. Overall really disapointed- seemed like amoney grabbing event- less of a show- not many people seemed to enjoy it. Disapointed. Don't go if you expect anything like Cirque Du Soleil or even half as comperable.

The atmosphere is similar to Disney-type parks but on a much more personal scale. The food and souvenir areas are many and very inexpensive. The shows are spectacular displays of bright colored costumes; generally a "big production" feel. There are also rides and games just for the kids. Although I did not bring my own two (preteen and teen) I am sure that they both would have had a fun time.

GReat night out. highly recommended. Great meal, cheap night out Show is spectacular!! Not far from Patong. And gettign home, you dont have to waiti ages tfor a bus

The show itself is very fascinating. However, our mistake was that we went with one of the tour groups. They picked us up at the hotel at 5:30pm and droped us at 11:00pm. The show started at 9:00pm and continued for 1 hour only?!! We spent more than 4 hours walking around doing nothing waiting for the show to start. Basically, they wanted us to spend more money by playing aruond in the available games(air rifles, darts,..etc which we did after all) that are available at an extra charge not included in the ticket price. The dinner buffet which opens at 6:00pm is of average quality. I advise everyone to get a taxi and try to arrive just before the show starts. There is no point of wasting time by arriving earlier.

The colour and music on the big stage was amazing, you didnt know where to look there was so much going on. We also had the buffet dinner before the show, it was wonderful. I reccomend to anyone wanting to experience this beautiful thai atmosphere and talent...

The performance fell short of my expectations. Maybe I am a traditionalist but the lights and smoke seemed to cheapen the cultural value of the show. FantaSea isn't the greatest show in Asia not even in Thailand. The environment is beautiful and like any theme park there are plenty of excellent opportunities for photos and for souvenirs. The exterior of the dining center and performance center are quite beautiful. However, the buffet meal didn't do justice to the variety and flavor of Thai cuisine. The performance was overhelmed by the lights and smoke. There was no apparent storyline and at times the show felt more like a Chinese circus act or a Hollywood blunder than an example of Thai culture and history.
