Wat Chalong, Ban ra wai (1)

I visited this wat yesterday in the early morning... probably one of the best hour to do it... This place is lovelw, peacefull, full of history and a "must". Bernie (France)

I found Wat Chalong Temple to be very relaxing, gave peace of mind, a beautiful temple.I visited just before noon and it was quite busy, I think it is a good experience for the whole family.

I visited the temple at about mid-day when it was very hot. But this did not reduce the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the place. I had specifically called to pray in a holy place following the death of my 20 yr old cat in UK during my absence. Following the Buddhist Prayer ceremony uplifted my spirits and I could not have wanted to be in any other place to celebrate the passing of a dear pet. There was however a lack of persons belonging to the temple to explain in detail the correct procedure. I had to rely on the kind host who took me to the Temple Complex.
