Patong Beach, Phuket

water of beach that waz very quiet i went with my wife for holiday . i like night of there and light of city from hotel. we want to go agane

This place have changed a lot for worst since we were there in 1998. Lots of traffic, pollution, prostitutes, expensive seafood ($40 per person)overbuild. Dirty dogs runing all over the town. Shops are expensive too. I get a beeter quality and for less $$ clothes or any other goods in california places like NewPort Beach or Daina Point...I guess its only gonna get worst. Better place Hawaii or California.

I loved pretty much everything about Patong Beach, the locals are all pretty friendly, shopping is great, nightlife is good! the resort we stayed in was nice with good service. I am going back this year! I dont think there is really anything bad I can say about this place.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn at patong last year and found it very comfortable. The Thai people are friendly and will do all they can to ensure you have a good time. The POK POK Bar on Nanai Road was a great place where we spent several evenings. We are going back this year. from Terry and gill.

Phuket nothing like the pictures everything is tired and worn out, rubbish all over the beaches and obviously in the surf. I totally understand that it is a third world country but all the pictures depict pristine beach's not in Patong save yourself the trouble travel in Australia at least the pictures are accurate

What an amazing place. Patong was great , the beach was ok, the night life was out of this world. The food cheap, can get exoensive if you want. Seafood was about 30 u.s. it had shrimp, prawns, crabs, mussells and 1 lobster tail. fed 2 people. TO me that cheap. The surround islands are amazing. Phi Phi was very relaxing , Krabi amazing. Went 3 months after tsunami and it was beautiful. The people are among the friedliest i have ever met. You have from staying at a $15 t skys the limit hotels. Everything from under the sun. I miss the noisy motorbikes the smell of the traffic and everytihg else about the place. Made many friends there. Stayed for 4 months. WOW WOW WOW

iI was passing phuket since 1999 and it is such nice place,until 2004 I was in the middle of tsunami with my kid,I think Thi peple are very helpful and they help me and my kid from dengerous stations even the BAN TAI hotel they are great.I am willing to return back again,I have good memory with many frinds there.Patong need little arrangemt (dogs-cleaning the street - cleaning the hotels swimming pools..etc) In the Islands should be there famous resturants.I think it is place for relaxtion.

Do not go to Patong Beach if you like to swim in the ocean. The beach is really crowded with hawkers and there are so many jet skis that it is not safe to swim in the water. Patong Beach would be beautiful without all the jet skis and kite sailors, but it sort of like a Las Vegas of Thailand. It is a shame that such a lovely natural location has been ruined by a motorized and neon idea of fun.

I love Phuket. The people are beautiful and friendly. They aim to please. From beach activities to night life, it is a good place to relax and have fun. lwa.
