Description

Located only 20 kilometers north of Chiang Mai, on route 1069 in the Mae Sa Valley, this is a nice place to see monkeys showing how clever they are. These lovable creatures perform in shows that last 45 minutes each—watch them ride a bicycle or even play basketball. There are two different kinds of macaques here, and they seem to be treated well by the staff.

Please do not patronise the people who run this "monkey school". The monkeys are treated abominably.

Disturbing horrible sight of animal cruelty

As soon as I walked through the door I felt ashamed that I had given money to these horrible people. The monkeys are chained to little posts and have no room to take a couple of steps. They look so miserable and some deranged. Absolutely horrible environment to see the monkeys in. The show was appalling as the monkeys are then made to perform the most unnatural acts whilst looking terrified. You can see that the owners and trainers are horrible people and I am very angry with myself for giving them any money.

it was the coolest dayof my life. i keep thinking, men are super troublesome to get their attention, how bout a lovely monkey? they understand humans completely. except for food time.

great for kids

We went to the monkey school after being in the elephant camp/ The show is great and the show host was even greater. Even though I dislike the idea, the show gets A+ for entertain my kid.
