Brasserie (La), Chiang Mai

It's a very cosy and typical Thais interior. Band is playing nice music. Table clothes are dirty, just as the pillows. We ordered fish and meat. The meat came within 5 minutes, just like the beer. The fish and the coke never arrived... Even after 45 minutes and several "wait 5 minutes, sir" we decided to go. The bill was correct: only what we got was counted. Hope for them, this was a one time mistake.

My sister and I were touring (aged 45 and 54) fancied a night out and WOW..Awesome so good we went there 3 times and had the best time....Took is a genius..Try the cotton fish in coconut milk, it's to die for...My daughter went there on our recommendation a year later whilst travelling and had just as good a time..A MUST for anyone in Chiang Mai.

Great food and even greater atmosphere. If you ever wondered if Thais can rock out check this place out. Thanks Took for a good night out

This place will amaze you from the moment you walk throught the door till the moment you walk back out the door inebriated and rockin!!! The music is the best I have ever come across in Thailand, the owner of the place who is the lead singer and guitarist in the band is absolutley amazing. He is a magician on the guitar... U have been there several times over about a 6 year span. And everytime it lives up to the last. Drinks are cheap and service is great. Before you finish your first drink they are bringoing you another.. Just a great time all in all. I would highly recomend anyone who is visiting chiang mai to visit the brasserie. Wait till around 11 or 11:30, that is whent the best band comes out and the place becomes your own private show with a phenominal atmosphere.. ENJOY!!!, I know you will....
