Central Chidlom, Bangkok

ALL this big SALES are actually gimmick to pull clients where you buy loads and when they say Cash coupon is actually talking nonsense as this is not true ....their own coupon is not accepted to them ......then only talk CASH BACK .....but all GIMMICK . nothing is back actually you end up spending more ...more ..and more.

I visit Bangkok annually and my first choice of hotel, although by no means exclusively, is in the Sukhumvit district, close to the mighty Central Chidlom store. I disagree with the reviewer that states the store is average and similar in many ways to London. Nonsense! I have lived in London for nearly 50 years and there are few stores of repute I haven't visited in that time.Central stands on its own, offering the widest possible selection of goods in most categories. I guess that the most compelling measure is Value-for-money. I agree you can buy cheaper. But all under one roof? The answer is never! I should also add that the quality of customer service is of the highest standard and is equal to the best in the Western world. When you've done buying, drag yourself up to the Foodloft. The food is as good as some of the top restaurants but is affordable. The choice is excellent. Long live Thailand!

It feels great when you shop at Central Chidlom. I never missed going to this mall whenever I visit Bangkok. It offers a complete range of products at reasonable prices! Sales people are warm and friendly. Food tripping at the Food Loft is one thing you shouldn't miss. The taste is superb and most importantly, food prices are highly reasonable. The mall's customer service is excellent, too. Highly recommended.

I like the Foodloft because the food was good, reasonable price and friendly staffs. I also like the friendly land because it was my son's favorite, but I think the play area was a little bit dark inside.

This is just your average department store. Just like Debenhams or JC Penny, etc. No sign of a shopping mall here. Selection and prices about the same as London i.e. decent shoes GBP35-40.

Central Chidlom is one of the best shopping malls i have been too...it has selective brands of goods which are of pretty good value.the clothes,shoes,bags,makeup and other accessories are really nice and worth buying..while i was in bangkok from 16th July 06 onwards for a week long trip Central Chidlom was the mall i went to repeatedly among the many others in the city..I indulged in serious retail therapy there..Apart from the shopping the other reason for so many visits was The Foodloft..this eating area is a must eat place for all tourists..It had by far the most delicious food i had in Bangkok..the food was excellent along with the service and the warm plus helpful waiters(I can swear by it)...I cant wait to go back to Bangkok esp to Central Chidlom!!

i didnt dislike anything about central!it was such a fabulous place for a first timer like me in bangkok.i think the foodloft is also a good place to eat.

Great place to go to get your brand label goods. Good selection of Ladies' and Mens' fashion. Love their shoe selection! Pretty cool place to hang out and eat or drink with quite a few choices in restaurants. Only let down in the whole store is the book section for foreign books.
