Mah Boon Krong (MBK) Center, Pathum wan

I need someone who is shopping at MBK to tell me a brand of a bag!!!!Its a dusty pink with a little clutch purse attached to it. I am so mad I didnt buy it and now I want it!!!! Can someone please help ME

I was told to go to the MBK centre whilst in Bangkok on a 2 night stop over to Australia. Just wished I'd had more time. So many different shops selling everything. A top tip I've given to my nephew who has just flown out is to take a small pad and pen and to write down which floors he'd seen things on as you do forget. Also the artists in the mall are fantastic, so talented. We had a picture done from a photo and it was so good and life like. If you are ever in Bangkok a must to go to.

Everything under one roof...this is MBK for me. Whenever I am in Bangkok, I never miss a movie and food at MK!!! Hunting for SALE items? Just the right place. Good hangout and recommend to backpackers in Bangkok!

liked the endless amount of shopping you can do here it just doesn't end if i didn't have to go back homei would have been there all the time!

this place is fun to shop at. compared to shopping at pratunam big market, this is a better place for ppl who cant stand hot-ness. this place is cool even in a big shopping mall like this, we still can bargain. wat a shopping heaven. if anybody wants to visit bangkok, dont miss out this place. yu gonna luv it.

MBK is certainly a great place to dine and shop till you drop! I was in BKK from 19/6/06 - 29/6/06 and dined and shopped at MBK for at least 6 days. The Japanese food at the restaurant is really good and value for money. Plenty of exotic tidbits not seen elsewhere and I strongly recommend the durian chips which in my opinion is heavenly and really cheap for a packet would cost at least 4 times in Singapore's Thai Supermart. I spent literally tens of thousands of bahts shopping at MBK with absolutely no regrets.

the only thing i didnt like about the mkb centre was that i didnt have enough time to go round the full shoppong cantre! i did have two full days there!! its huge! shoppers paradise! cant wait to go again!

My girlfriend and I did do some shopping at MBK -- a 1 gigabyte SD card for my camera (700 baht or $19), a good quality tee-shirt (195 baht or $5.40), tiny sweets formed into colorful copies of vegetables, Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner, etc. But even more interesting for us was the food court on the 6th floor which has around 20 counters, each with a different kind of food. We ate lunch there 3 times. My friend tended to eat chicken, while I went to counter C-8, which had only vegetarian food. For the 2 of us lunch came to 100-180 baht ($2.75-5.00). You pay with prepurchased coupons. Be sure to get a refund for unused coupons before leaving the store.

I like do bargain, therefore I say this is a good place for shopping after Chatunjak ... ;D. You can find cute stuffs for only 199 Bath (about US$4). Seems that 199 is famous number coz so many things offered on that price. Including foods. Just good bargain. And if you are fond of unique fancy bags ... find some there at MBK! Well ... the price of course more than 199 Bat. Could be 300 or 400 bath ... buth value for money. The thing that I don't like is ... it is so crowded. Well, maybe because the place is so huge! Anyway ... just take your time, no rush ... then you can enjoy your shopping experience. Happy shopping!!
