This is a fine dining establishment with a stylish interior to match. From the greeting at the door to the sumptuous, ever-changing menu, this is where to come to celebrate special occasions, impress business clients and enjoy innovative French-style cuisine. Besides the regular menu (which is anything but regular), Joyce Cafe offer daily specials and an outdoor barbecue grill dinner bonanza on weekends. For wine lovers, there is a great selection of Californian, Australian and French wines to compliment your meal. The manager, Teddy, will be happy to help you pick a suitable wine.

I just went to this restaurant two nights ago. While the ambience is marvelous (outdoor courtyard seating, soft jazz music), the food was very average. I had a mixed salad and seafood pasta. The salad looked tired and tasted bland. Generally speaking salads are poorly prepared in Taiwan, and Joyce Cafe was no exception. The pasta was slightly better, but there was nothing distinctive about it. The noodles were al dente, but the sauce lacked character. Given that this is a relatively expensive place, I do not recommend it at all.

A great place for celebrations

This restaurant is indeed quite romantic and a good place to celebrate unique occasions with a special someone. The staff was incredibly attentive, the food very delicious- especially recommendable is the Hungarian duckliver, which literally melts on the tongue. The only thing that didn't live up to expectations was the truffle pasta, which actually did not taste like truffle. The other dishes however, were very delicious- such as the Grand Marnier souffle and the Tiramisu.

Nice setting and good food

This is a nice place to take someone out in Taipei. There is an outdoor seating area when the weather is nice. Nicely decorated with flowers. Food is pretty nice and definitely above average in terms of Western food for Taipei.
