Shanghai Tea House, Taipei City

This French beauty is located on the 6th Floor of the Xin Yi Eslite Center with beautiful views of the Northern skyline. The food is traditional and outstanding by international standards. Most remarkable is the wine list which contains several hundred outstanding wines, with a mind blowing selection of Burgundy and Bordeaux from the 1980's and 1990's and some even going back to 1945. This list is the rival of many 3 star establishments in Paris or NY. The restaurant would be outstanding in either of those venues. In Taipei there is nothing else like it .
