San Sebastian Church
Looking at its Gothic spires, one would not think that San Sebastian is constructed of prefabricated steel. The story goes that the Augustinian Recollect Order, having seen their church thrice leveled to the ground by earthquakes, decided to have the new one cast in steel so that it would endure Manila's temblors. With its vaulted ceilings, jewel-like stained glass windows and generally romantic air, San Sebastian is understandably a much-favored venue for weddings.
I got married in this church almost 18 years ago. I have been out of the country for 12 years and decided to visit this special church. It took awhile to get there due to traffic and wrong turns but it was all worth it! The church is still majestic, romantic and yet so solemn. Sometimes in your life, there is a place that seems to leave an unforgettable impression, this is my place. It sure brought back that Monday afternoon when I said, 'I do" to my best friend who became my husband and now the father of my children. Find your special place and share it with others!

Good atmosphere, very solenm. I've been looking forward to have my wedding ceremony in this church, my fiancee and our family is very excited to see the place and most of all I am really excited to walk to the altar.
this church is breathtakingly beautiful! it stands out from its environment, and it has this gentle, yet powerful feel. the spires rise out into the manila sky and it casts a sweet, nostalgic aura to its surroundings.
inside, the rose windows and stained glass windows evoke a romantic touch. they're really beautifully made. you will also notice that the altar and some pews are made of silver.
