Taal Volcano & Lake, Tagaytay

It's a must see in the Philippines. Beautiful scenery...the volcano, lakes, the clouds formation.... what you see in the picture is what you get. I like the food specially the coconut pie (oohh sooo good!)and the people are very friendly. I cant wait to go back!

very very beautiful. cost was ok. boat ride was nice. very friendly people. but too costly to take horses to the volcano. just pay boat driver a little extra he will take you to the base for a upclose veiw. food was pretty good too! taxi there and back 3000 peso's all day. (from manila) boat ride for 5 --- 1500 peso's and stay on island for as long as we wanted. horse ride to top of volcano 850 peso's each. *** did not ride horses. extra to get boat driver to drive to base of volcano 150 peso's. food for 5 --- 1000 peso's *lot of food... memories you will get will be priceless.. they may try to sell you package deals too. at not so good of price, 3800 for each- that gets you - the boat ride, horses, 450 pesos of food,

One of the most memorable places i have been to in the Philippines. One person said the lake is haunted and was terrified when I touched the Water.

I like the view of the volcano, nothing can compare the beauty of the scenery and the people are hospitable and friendly. It's a must to see in the philippines.

the place there is nice. U have to travel a boat (about half an hour) to that volcano island and then riding horse around 1/2 hr to the top of the volcano. It's hot there and people there always ask for tips. Be careful to choose the agent who leads u for the boats as the price varies a lot depending the safety .... Anyway, the view there was greaT!! u must enjoy going there~

the experience was great. especially in going to the crater - riding the banca and horse. i would like to go to this place again with the one i love.

that there are three volcanos on one small island in the middle of the lake. you still could see fumes coming out from the rock harden lava. really enjoyed it. the people are great and friendly. i really do recommend it to anyone who willing to travel. it is far from manila but worth the trip. Joe Ayala, no relation to the Ayala's there but i do tease everyone that i own half the island.

It's a beautiful and relaxing place to visit and stay for a while. It is not too far from Manila, too. A fun boat trip and then a horseride to go up to the volcano rim & for a spectacular view you would remember in your lifetime! This should be rated number 1 instead. And with 5 stars! Excellent overall experience!

This was one of the first places I went to see when I was in the Philippines 4 years ago for work. I didn't take the boat over to Taal but the view and the scenary where incredible. I'd highly recommend this.

I LOVED THE BEAUTIFUL VIEWS, THEY WERE GREAT!!! I WISH I COULD GO THERE AGAIN!!!!!!!! THE ATMOSHERES AND VALUES WERE GREAT!!!! I LOVED IT!!!!!! IT WAS SO ENJOYABLE... YOU COULD TAKE THE WHOLE FAMILY AND HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!
