RDS ERMITA-Robinsons Place Manila
Robinsons Place occupies almost an entire block, but surprisingly one does not feel lost or overpowered inside it. It is actually quite pleasant shopping or just strolling on its six levels of shops, service outlets, eateries, amusement centers and other facilities. The interior features the same blend of form and function that distinguishes other Robinsons malls. Even the crowds seem to be more laid back here than in most other malls. As an extra bonus, ample parking space is available inside the building.
I love going to Robinson's Ermita. The people who work there are very accomodating and helpful. Four years ago, I lost my wallet. I don't remember where I dropped it. That was late afternoon June 26, 2006. I went back to the mall and inquire the guard. The guard told me he'll do his best to look for it. Then I left the mall and went straight to school because I had evening classes. The mall has a cctv camera, almost anywhere. Then, after a few hours, I got a text from the guard informing me to go back to the mall because they found my wallet. They where also paging me but I had left the mall already. I told them, I was going to school to attend my class and I told the guard that I'll go back in the morning.
The next day, I went back to Robinson's Ermita and I texted the guard informing him that I am already in the mall. He then went to see me and brought me to their office. Actually it was his day off. He brought me to their office. I only had an ID name card in my wallet, a few cash, with no picture and no landline/cellphone number. When I arrived in their office, the guard left me inside while he stayed near the door. Then they told me to describe how my wallet looked like and how many paper bills do I have inside. I told them, I only have three thousand plus. A one thousand bill, a five hundred bill, a few hundreds and some 20 peso bill. I told them I have no picture but only my ID card in school. Then they told me before I lost my wallet that I went to this particular store and bought something and went to the other store. I told them, yes I did went there andI bought a t-shirt. I did went also to another store. I was wondering how come they knew where I was going. Then I remembered that they have these cctv cameras. I was so amazed about their technology. Especially the high-tech cameras. I was so blessed that my wallet was returned to me. I told myself at first that it's ok to loose the cash, but the most important was my ID. My prayer was heard, and I thank the guard (my guardian angel) that he was so honest to me and he helped me a lot. I gave him a reward. At first he will not accept it because its against their law or rules in their management, but I insisted and gave him a tip and thanking him a lot. He told me that it's their policy, their job and duty to help and protect their fellow citizen. Well, keep up the good work you guys and more blessings to your management. =) God bless and more power too. =)
After that, I been there always almost every day. =)
It's like a second home to me where I can unwind, relax and enjoy the place. =)
there's one store that i like very much(located at the ground floor)..i'ts called TRIBAL.love this store and the staff too..very accomodating...hoping i could get the tel.no.there..i'm in china right now working in a hotel..i love ur mall coz it's very near to my hotel where i stay if i'm in manila..just love everything about there..more power!!!!!
I love Ermita-Robinsons. I live in Hawaii and I always have to come here when I visit Manila. Has everything I need in one place. Good Shopping and Good Food. So close to the hotel. My favorite place to shop.
I like the place, everything is already inside the mall. You don't need togo out of the mall to enjoy Manila. Specially now that extension is open it become more bigger. The condominium beside is just adjacent to the mall. A great place to live and stay. A lots of retaurant, cinemas and the gym (forgot the name) Everytime i am in Manila i choose this place to hang around
First of all this mall is huge. I realize that it needs to be this big in order to meet the needs of all the people living in Manila and surrounding areas, but being from the USA, its HUGE! Compared to the USA the movies are way cheaper 122pesos=$2.87, and bowling on a Friday, Saturday nightwas way cheaper too 100pesos/game/person=$2.35/game/person. There are more then enough places to choose from to eat at. You can spend hours there just looking around. They even had a stage set up with an "Philippines American Idol" style competition going on while we were there. The only downside to the mall would be that many of the stores were the same thing over and over, especially cell phone and cell phone accessory stores. Other then that I would definitely go back if I were to ever be in Manila again.
I like this place because our hotel is only a 5 miute walk. I'm in an internet cafe right now and Robinson's is right across the street,so I am in the Philippines! There are alot of resturants like Shakey's,Greenwich,Jollibee, and some other resturants. There are also a ton of stores to choose from. And, there is also ice cream for only 7 pesos. It is great! I hope you will visit!
I LIKE THE DEPARTMENT STORE BECAUSE THE GIRLS ARE SO ATTRACTIVE BUT I THINK THEY SHOULD LAY DOWN THERE HAIR TO MAKE MORE BEATIFUL IN THE OUTSIDE...YAP!I REALLY LIKE FILIPINAS SPEACIALLY THERE HAIR AND I KNOW THAT MY FRIENDS WANT IT TO..SO I THINK THE ROBINSONS MANAGEMENT SHOULD WORK OUT ON THIS.
Robinsons place is the place to be. i lived in manila and went there at least once a week to shop, see a movie, have lunch or dinner or just get out of the heat. it was a 15 min walk from my place but a short tricycle ride would do the trick each time. i hated the way that it was built where you have to walk around half of the mall to go up or down but it wouldnt have been the same without it.
