SM Megamall

Description

Shop till you drop in this huge flagship store of the SM Group of Supermalls. Here you can also have a haircut, a manicure, a massage, and do a hundred other things. You may even go for a spin on the ice skating rink. There is a wide variety of cafes, bars, restaurants and food stalls, in addition to the SM Megamall Food Court in the basement. Just in case you are wondering what SM stands for, it is short for Shoe Mart, the name of the hole-in-the-wall shoe store which the mammoth SM enterprise sprung from.

This is the place where i always want to spend my day, esp with my family and friends. Its a very huge mall! You'll find everything here, from movies, restaurants, department stores, grocery, computers, health related clinics/shops, chapel, art galleries, appliances, bookstore, entertainment and amusements. You'll enjoy it!

The best place in the world!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/4/05
The best things to do in the Philippines is to go shopping at sm mega mall because everything is so cheap. I love shopping. The mall is like heaven to me. But I suggest you bring a zippered purse because my wallet was stolen when i went shopping at sm mega mall.

Unexpectedly Huge
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/7/05
Thinking about the Philippines, all i see is hungry people in the streets begging for money. But, when i went there recently, it proved me wrong. Being in SM megamall is really great. It's really so big that you might even get lost. My friends told me it's a low-class mall. True, because it appeals to the lower class people. But the strange thing is, it's also a first-class mall. In conclusion, it's a metropolitan mall for all people from all walks of life. Though the mall needs renovation, most shops still look new and the facilities are clean and efficient

Feels like being in a shopping wonderland.
By DanS, 10/4/05
I like the fact that you can find absolutely everything you desire all under one roof. Albeit you should wear your most comfortable walking shoes. Whatever you feel like doing, from playing interactive games, doing some light reading, going for an exotic snack or an ethnic meal. Of course there's the usual shopping and watching movies. There's nothing boring about the place if you plan your visit or just winging it. The only thing I find kinda dis-appointing is the lack of walk-a-lators for people who need to get from one end to the other without stressing their joints. Especially our senior citizens. Then again, we all need the exercise.

\"They've Got It All For Us\"
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/1/05
One can spend the whole day at the Megamall and still feel you haven't gone to all the 550 or so stores. i can find almost anything from a pencil and a nail to home furniture, cell phones, computers, etc... They practically sell everything here. I can also watch a movie in one of the eight theatres, pay my phone and electric bill, go to the beauty parlor, grocery shoping, etc. They even have a chapel where a mass is celebrated daily.

Simply the best!
By Jesse, 8/8/05
I usually go to Megamall during weekends for a complete day spree! Attend the Sunday Mass, sneak around for any events at Megatrade halls, Visit the Computer arcade for the latest cellphone and gadgets, dine-in for a great meal, watch a good movie! then shop for my home needs! It's all there! You don't have to go anywhere else but in just one place where nice and friendly staff always smile and simply great service!
