Aristocrat (The), Manila

I left Manila two decades ago for the US. I still have vivid memory of how great the food was at this restaurant. I will definitely come back and take my friends for a nice lunch or dinner this year.

ITS BEEN 12 YEARS SINCE I COME HOME FROM AUSTRALIA, WHEN I MET MY HUSBAND WE USED TO EAT HERE ALL THE TIME OUR FAVORITE IS THE CHICKEN BARBEQUE WE LOVE THE FOOD ,THE SERVICE,THIS TIME WE STILL LOVE THE FOOD AND SERVICE BUT THE LOOK OF THE PLACE IS NOT SEEMS TO CLASSY ANYMORE, BY THE TIME WE RECEIVED OUR ORDER ITS COLD AS IF ITS BEEN PREPARED FOR A WHILE, I SUGGEST TO PUT IN MICROWAVE FOR 30 SECOND BEFORE SERVING. NO TABLECLOTHOR PLACEMAT IT LOOK LIKE IT BECOMES A CARINDERIA NOT A RESTAURANT.

My husband and I visited the Philippines last March. We asked the local populace where to find authentic Filipino food. We were told of "Kamayan" and "Aristorcrat"; we went to both restaurant, and I have to say that I prefer Aristocrat than Kamayan as far as food goes. Although, kamayan is not bad, we just prefer Aristocrat. We liked it so much, we went back again a couple of days later. My only complain is that, the server had a hard time understanding us, but it's not a big deal.

On my visit from SC,USA we ate several times there. The food was good and service was great. Can't wait to go back next year.

we always love to eat in Aristocrat's Malate...my american husband loved the coffee, he always mentioned "coffee in Aristocrats are soooo good", delivery service is good and make sure you always make a follow up.... they have good pastries too....the menu is still the best...More Power to Aristocrat Phils.....

i like every food at aristocrat.. they have the most or i can say only at aristocrat i tasted the most delicious food in my whole life.

the aristocrat was pretty good. not the best, but not awful. you should definetly try it if you are in the area with family. the food is pretty good. they serve filipino food, so if you want japanese you might want to go somewhere else. overall, it was good!

This is one of my fav place tto go during dinner, ambiance is cool being near the bay and the food are excellent! service crew are very warm and hospitable and very convenient for family occasion. I recomend this place during special and unspecial occasion for lovebirds,family ,friends or business meeting.

i encounter a bad service last night we dine in and placed our order on the menu,after 20 minutes our order were served but one dish we order were not served, we did ask the server for the follow up after the first dish were served another 15 minutes were consumed and yet no food were served for our follow up order, at this point we ask the server (waiter)about our order and confirmed it. the server when to the kitchen and informed us that they did know that we placed the order,at this point we were very frustrated on the outcome, the dine in manager two of them were very buzy doing horse play with their fellow employee.(by the way this restaurant is aristocrat manila we dine in their at 11:30pm 01/18/2008)instead they should be aware to their customer if they really are into valuing them. the way the server aproached us were arogant and told us that if we want our food to be served we should wait again for another 15 mins.this is not the reply we want to hear,since its their fault not ours why would they give us the problem since its their fault anyway?(the server initials were "j" )since they are in to service they should address the problem and not passed the problem to their customer or client. by the way same thing happen the last time we dine in there along with my friends.. i have nothing against the restaurant but if they can improved and concentrate on their service they can last again for a decade after all way back in the late 70's my mother and father use to work and met there.

I like the service and the taste of food, excellent service, nice and clean, good water view and atmosphere, decent place to eat and good price.
