Conti's Pastry Shop and Restaurant

Description

Despite the name, and though it does serve good pasta, this is not an Italian restaurant. Managed by three sisters surnamed Conti, the restaurant features an eclectic mix of Filipino, European (the lengua estofada and calamari are winners) and a few Japanese dishes, along with sumptuous pastries and desserts, the house specialty. Conti's also offers catering and banqueting services, with function rooms for up to 100 persons. The simple decor is highlighted by a glass-enclosed garden corner with cascades. Fresh fruit juices in addition to soft drinks and beer. Average cost per person: PHP350.

sinfully delicious sans rival
By ,
the whole place was awesome. a cousin of mine wanted to personally impress me with a pastry so he dragged me to this pastry shop and restaurant. we stopped by for a snack. it was still open despite the power outtage that day. i ordered the linguini with pesto. living in naples italy it was hard for me to find this simple meal and i was happy to see it in their menu. pasta was cooked al dente and the sauce just right not too creamy and oily. for dessert i ordered their sans rival. at first bite i felt like i've committed a sin. i love sans rival and it's hard for me to find a place where i like the taste of their sans rival. the other place that i liked getting sans rival from was from starbucks. i suggest to anyone visiting the manila to try this shop for pastry or for a snack.

Everything is excellent!

If you haven't eaten at this place, you're missing a lot. The food is great, service is number #1 and the owners are very friendly. If you're ever in the Philippines, try this restaurant. Their pastry shop is to die for, especially their Food for the Gods. I highly recommend them for parties as well. Worth every penny. We can't wait to eat there again.

Can't wait to try the other dishes

I think it's value for money. It's relatively cheap for the yummy food. And it's nearer now with a Greenhills branch Serving size isn't bad either. Altho they seemd a bit undermanned when we were there. It took a while for my order to come but good thing we were chatting with a friend we haven't seen in a long while..

DISAPPOINTED
By ,
All of my friends recommended their pastries and I bought their famous mango cake for take out, but while I'm cutting the cake there's a hair imbedded in it. My children cried because I did not serve the cake to them and my husband got so disappointed.

This is the place to pig out!
By ,
Do not miss this restaurant! It has rightly earned all the salutations for their divine food. I like the Greenhills branch (along Connecticut) which is closer to home. Just make sure you either make a reservation or come early as lines can get quite long for a table. The Baked Salmon is delish and is absolutely great value for money. Mango Bravo is out of this world! Food orders from Conti's make my house parties a big hit!!

Fantastic!!!
By ,
I love all their desserts, even if it is a tad expensive compared to their commercial counterparts. However, buying from this restaurant means that you'll never be disappointed, and there is no fear that your guests will think negatively of the food. My close friend hosted her birthday party at their house, and all the food was ordered from Conti's. We had a carbonara, lengua, and a mango-kani salad (if I remember correctly). We ordered a mango tart(or cream pie). All of us loved the food, and we wouldn't hesitate to go there again, as we are all young professionals. Of course, if the prices were to drop a bit without sacrificing quality, that would be phenomenal.

Good food
By ,
Good food for its good price! The opening of a new branch in Greenhills made it more accessible for us. I have recommended Conti's to my friends and relatives and always give theircakes and goodies as presents.

YUM!
By ,
I just love the food here! I love their pastas, chicken pies, brownies and their CAKES! YUMMY!!! There's this chocolate overload cake and mango bravo which is absolutely divine! One thing i didn't like though is sometimes their service can be really slow... but i guess the taste of the food makes up for that!
