Rainforest Restaurant, Kampong Sungai Keluang

Another backpaper's haven for meeting other fellow travellers located on love-child Chulia Street; budget hotel The Olive Spring stands just above the restaurant. Enticed by the sound of trickling water (a tiny green fountain enthralls diners in the inner section), the cafe/restaurant is airy, clean with subdued orange walls. Internet facilities are available but for the more personal note to send back home, postcards are on sale. Food-wise, expect American sized helpings of western set meals, pizzas with mouthwatering toppings, smoothies, pastas and a dash of Mexican flavours apart from the normal Malaysian fare. Beer and stout are available.
