For a taste of distinct Malay culture of mee goreng, nasi campur and other mouthwatering Malay delicacies, Mariners is the place. Look out for the faded yellow sign just opposite the Esplanade that says, 'Restoran Warisan'. Four flights up and your reward awaits. The decor is a bit jaded, bearing worn out red tablecloths and curtains, gaudy yellow and pink plastic flowers and bored looking waiters. But the food speaks volumes for itself.
