Taman Tasik Titiwangsa
Located in the north-eastern fringe of Kuala Lumpur, Taman Tasik Titiwangsa is a recreational park with a large lake as its main attraction. A popular rendezvous amongst city dwellers, it offers tennis courts, an exercise area, a playground for children and other recreational facilities for water sports, jogging and the like. At the edge of the lake sits a floating restaurant, in which visitors can savor delicious local cuisine while enjoying the scenic view. Bakatkraf, an exhibition and sales center, lies a short distance away, housing an interesting array of handicrafts produced by the wives of army personnel.
im just wondering are we allow to fishing at tasik titiwangsa ?and if yes, do we need to make any payment ? cuz im planing to make a fishing activity during this Merdeka holidays. other than this tasik, any other place suggestion for fishing ?
Over all,the taman tasik titiwangsa's environment was very good,it's clean and has many advantages there. It's is a very suitable place for doing exercises. But there is one thing that broken the good image of this good place. The 'sampan' and canoe diving centre's worker were so rude that they scold at their customer with high voice and rude words. They even insult their client's race by saying "chinese has no brain and so stupid".They scold their client because of unknown rules. They didn't scold other customers who broke this unknown rules because of the sameness of the client's race with them. They fine the client double of the price of canoe diving price. This kind of service really gave us a thinking that we are being insulted and it shows that they are low-educated people that affect our country image.
Overall, the titiwangsa park is clean, structured, and well maintained.
However, the regular Fishing events of Titiwangsa create unpleasant atmosphere and the event attendants are likely to pollute the air qualities and cleaniness of the park by smoking and littering.
