Shirt Shrank Even Though I Enquired Before Buying

I bought a linen shirt with vertically pleated front with which I am pleased although it shrank to be one size smaller than I bought. Had the shop assistant advised me correctly I would have bought the next bigger size. It's now slightly too snug across my shoulders. I emailed Brit India head office but did not receive a reply. I find them evasive when I phoned the store too.

Just returned from Southeast Asia. While there discovered British India Apparel. Love the clothes and fabrics and wish they had an Online store.

I love the brand & the store. It's so lovely that I just wish they would finally set up & online store to give fans the possibility to purchase from overseas. So when will it happen? Don't think it will...been watching for a few years now and they can't even get into the search results on google.

An excellent choice of quality mens clothing. There was also womens clothes and household goods. But it was the quality that makes me remember this store. My husband bought a beautifull linen shirt. It was two seperate layers and has tuck pleat detailing on the front. Workmanship was outstanding. Cost I seem to remember converted to about �32 - the cost of a good shirt in M&S at home. I would think it would have cost over �100 in U.K. Going back to KL in July this year and will definately pay the shop another visit.

Definately recommend it to anyone who would like well made, well fitting clothes. Beautiful materials and styles. Well worth a visit. One in Singapore as well.

Classy and durable

Two years on I'm still wearing and loving the clothes I bought her (mainly from Georgetown store). The linen pants, skirts and shirts wash like a dream and because they are classic designs, haven't dated; the bed linen still looks great. I'm going back on my next visit and hope everything's on sale - as it was last time!

It had a large selection of good clothes, i.e. stylish, durable clothes. My dress and pants haven't faded, lost their shape. And they are still in style. I've had so many compliments. I got the dress in Malaysia and the pants in Australia. I've been wanting to order for a long time. Anyone know how to shop from British India online?
