Low Yat Plaza, Kuala Lumpur

I have been living in Kuala Lumpur for two months and have gone to Low Yat at least six times since i've come over, it is a very interesting place, very crowded at times and every person trying to sell you something calls out to you. The first time I went I thought I would never go back because it was just 1 big cluster of confusion. As I went again for things that I needed, I learned to love it and avoid eye contact with the vendors to avoid them talking to me. It is worth the trip and money if you buy the right thing, if you become a regular there are nice vendors who help you and are genuinely truthful with you. I would recommend it to anyone who needs anything electronical.

a verrrryyy good spot to shop 4 all ur tech gadgetss...

i like to shop for computer devices there......i think i can get almost wat i want there...cheap....lots of choices......but jus the place is simply quite crowded wit boxes n narrow path for people...n i think it can be made in a better way with little more effort on management.....

When i first stepped in Low Yat Plaza, i taught this IT Plaza doesn't have anything. But when i was at the middle of the mall, i realise this mall was fantastic! There were many handphone centres, computer centres. There were also quite a lot of shops. Tourists should go to Low Yat Plaza.

well to describe about low yat plaza its a place where you guys can save a lot of money on buying computer components over at low yat plaza. its a place where can be described as money saving place, there is a lot of differents in imbi and low yat plaza. in imbi the guys over there realy cut your throat out, so please dunt ever go there to buy ur computer staff bt if u have a lot of money in your pockets well please do go to imbi and get cheated, for me low yat plaza is the best place to get computer staff and handphones or even can be described as the world of IT and handphones.

Vast array of computer bits, computers made to spec, mobile phones everywhere with every possible accessory. Great place to go if you want some electrical goods - some prices are steep so have an idea of a benchmark price prior to going. Overall a brilliant place

Low Yat plaza is just opposite the Capitol Hotel, it has a few restaurant serving nice and reasonable priced dishes, such as there is a shop serving deliciour yaki noodles at the basement, a cantonese restaurant on the 3rd floor offering 30% discount on food on Sunday morining. And not forgeting the lok-lok food stall that operate infront of the plaza at 3pm onwards.

Compared to Imbi Plaza .. which used to be the computer Mecca .. Low Yat is bright and so diversified. Even the deals are better at Low Yat. We got ripped off at Imbi with stalls wanting to charge extra for Macintosh programmes .. and some of the disks were blank. Low Yat is also a much better atmosphere with shops grouped. So if you want cameras they are on the ground floor .. mobile phones on the first floor and computer programmes and bhits on the second and third floors. If you are looking for computer bits look for the "supermarket" style shops where everything is labelled and priced. But still be prepared to haggle. Any computer programme you can possibly want is there for 5RM.
