The restaurant is a nice place without the usual cramped Bangsar atmosphere surrounding it. A wooden frame filled with intricate carvings of Thai girls, elephants and flowers at the entrance adds a rustic Asian feel to the place. The yellow-beige walls are covered with traditional Thai paintings and the subtle lighting provides a touch of class. There is almost every regional dish you could imagine on the menu and a few unknown dishes may prove to be impressive. Try the crispy duck with Thai plum sauce, Thai laksa and deep-fried sweet and sour garoupa. Fresh fruit juices are a must.
Every time I pay a visit to this restaurant, I never failed to order the fried garoupa with Thai sauce. The fish is fresh, the sauce is not over bearing giving the right flavour to complement the fish.
The starter is good especially the one where you put all the condiments on the betel leaf, I think and with the sauce, you chow it down together. The different condiments mixed together are just yummy, bursting with flavour.Spicy yet sweet yet crunchy...just heavenly!
