Tai Thong Restaurant
This is one of the oldest restaurants serving authentic Cantonese cuisine in Kuala Lumpur. Tastefully decorated with oriental touches, this spacious restaurant has a seating capacity of 700 persons. The comprehensive menu covers just about everything from noodles, meats, seafood and soup to vegetarian dishes. Popular dishes include the crispy Roast Pigeon and the seafood soup-Treasures of the Ocean. For something more extravagant, try the Tai Thong Special Braised Supreme Shark's Fin or Stewed Sliced Abalone with Mushroom and Vegetables. A choice of soft drinks, beers and fresh juices is available to accompany your meal.
I was in shantini/steah house at KLcc ,and ordered steak and also asked for mustard to my horror the waitress told me that I have to pay rm5.90 for mustard.
THe steak came without the sauce, that was to come with it,didn't arrive, the steak and vegetables were cold.
Coming back to the mustard issue!!!!why not charge customer for chill sauce ,tomato, and etc.
Why do wE allow thE restaurant to over charge ustomer.
I will not ever eat therE but will surely tell othrs about thE bad servicE and this issue
I am interested to know what the big deal about this place. Had dinner with the family however we were not pleased to dine with a couple of cockroaches at our table.
The waitresses were kind enough although they should improve the proficiency in Engligh or at least Malay.
Food was awful! Had tasted better in Melaka or even in Klang. The mgmt should consider diversifying their chef's talent to incorporate more spicy dishes.
