Passage Thru' India, Kuala Lumpur

I really enjoyed the environment of the restaurant and ofcourse food is amazing.I have never seen such a restaurant before. Its a different country it feels like you are in India not in Malaysia.

Fantastic ambience. Displays the passion that shows in the food. Best Indian in Kuala Lumpur by far.The Chicken tandoori is excellent and the PTI Prawn masala is incredibly rich and tasty. Favorites include the chicken beriyani and the chukka mutton.

Simply the best Indian restaurant i have been to anywhere, including London, elsewhere in Europe and even India! I loved their version of onion bhaji, a light fluffy mass of perfectly deep fried and battered spiced onion stands.

loved this place all in all! great food, great ambience, GREAT GREAT work of art, great music, great service, great parking space ;) been around the world but never been to an indian restaurant or just about any other restaurants this unique, heard that the owner himself(whom apparently has no professional arts qualifications) did all the fabulous artwork! at one part of the restaurant, the wall was smeared with earth(sand), when we enquired about it..the manager said that the owner personally had brought the earth from the himalaya's during one of his many trips there!! these are the kind of details that culture enthusiasts like me look forward to and totally totally get thrilled by! pls pls pls keep up the great work and if possible keep us updated on your happenings..or if you had brought in new earth from any other parts of the world ;)) thank you!

I just love the food at Passage Through India (PTI). It is simply to die for. I have eaten northern indian food in many similar northern indian restaurants around Malaysia but none can challenge PTI. You just want togo back time after time. The quality has remained the same since they opened. I have had family dinners and official dinners with clients who thank me for introducing the place to them. Wonderul food, friendly service, great ambience, did I say great food... If you want to make an impression on someone, please take them to PTI. Waah!Kia Baat He! As we say in Hindi.

This is definitely the best indian food that I have ever eaten. During my 3 nights stay, I ate there twice, and crave it everyday now! Even the ambiance and service is great. And eating from a banana leaf also scores many bonus points! A must when you're in Malaysia!

Being a bunch of Scots and curry being our national dish, we are not easily fooled by the "mock" curry. We all agree that outside of Scotland, this is the best Indian meal in Asia so far.The staff were great, even our requests for dishes not on the menu were taken without a pause. Definately recommend the Tawa prawns, prawn jalfrazi,channa masala and saag aloo.So all you curry loving scots missing your saturday night curry and a pint, get yourself here.

Having eaten a lot of curry in a lot of places, this is my favourite in the whole world. I've been there several times now and have never had cause to rethink that opinion. The range of dishes is phenomenal, and the variety within those choices amazing. For example, a kurma and a pasanda, two dishes which are arm-in-arm in England, were distinctively different and both delicious. The layout of the place is cool too, and don't believe those who tell you that the posher and more expensive Bombay Palace down the road is better. I've tried that place too, and there's no comparison. Plan your trip to KL around this place!
