Marco Polo Restaurant
Description
The fact that this is one of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Kuala Lumpur, and one of few that has survived the increasing competition, makes this place well worth checking out. The elegant decor paves the way for an experience of grand dining. The menu is elaborately indulging with the emphasis on Cantonese cuisine. Some special items are Shark's Fin Soup with Crabmeat, Peking Duck and Drunken Prawn. An array of dainty dim sum is available for lunch. Go for any of the four Chinese wines.
We went to this place twice while we were on a week long stay in KL. If you like Dim Sum this is the place to go. I can asure you the Dim sum here is very varied the quality is of a very high standard and at very low cost. My wife and I had about seven steam pots each containing about 3-4 pieces in each, an endless flow of chinese tea for around £15 in total. The service was great. A nice lady brings the dim sum on a trolly you decide the ones you want and after a little while she comes back with more and it keeps coming until you can't move. Marco Polo is situated 5 minutes walk from KL tower going away from the centre on the way to Bukit Bintang.
The restaurant serves excellent food and the staff are very good.
I have enjoyed eating there many time over the years and will always go there when I travel to Malaysia.
I travel and attended my friend's wedding party at Marco Polo Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. Wow! What a nice place, their arrangement and decoration were really gorgeous.
Most important thing is their yummy food and exquisite looking of all dishes. Highly recommend to you.
Don't miss the good restaurant in Kuala Lumpur.
The buffet lunch on Sundays is really value for money. Help youself to dishes and desserts from the buffet table or steamed and fried dim sum. I particularly liked the roast duck and the fried bean curd prawn rolls.
An excellent Chinese restaurant in the heart of KL

I found the service extremely good and a wide selection of food available at very reasonable prices. The decor of the restaurant is extremely pleasing on the eye and we will certainly go there again and again very time we are in Kuala Lumpur.
Whilst Marco Polo has always enjoyed the reputation of one with fine chinese cuisine, I'm sad to remark that the food quality is no longer up to par with its image.
