Golden Phoenix, Kuala Lumpur

Located within the Hotel Equatorial, Golden Phoenix was established in 1973. They serve set meals for lunch and dinner. A pair of phoenix, greeting guests to the restaurant in Imperial style graces the entrance. There is an attractive courtyard right at the centre of the restaurant. “Monk Jumps Over the Wall” is a classic luxury dish, consisting of five Chinese delicacies including abalone, scallop, shark's fin, sea cucumber and fish maw. Other specialities are the braised superior shark's fin, stewed bean curd with kai choy, and pomfret with belachan sauce. Sample the fresh fruit juices.
