Caribbean Bay in Everland, Yongin-Si

I grew up in Korea until 2009, and my family visited this water park all the time. We had a membership for Everland, you see, so we visited often. (I'll be as least biased as possible) I absolutely loved it. And this water park is probably the reason why I'm so unimpressed with the water parks in the U.S (no offense intended) REALLY CLEAN, It's great for both swimmers and non-swimmer. , food's pretty good for amusement park . There's more high quality foods in there if you prefer. Many spas of great sizes bot indoors and outdoors, and they were almost always connected to the other pools, so whenever you got cold, you could simply wade into the spa without getting out to the chilly air. Since I was younger back then, I was limited from some rides such as some of the slides,so I do not have any info about the thrillers . I would recommend to bring a inflatable boat or tube if you have one. Very convenient for the wave pool(which is HUGE) Water guns are also fun too. There is a variety of pools, such as the lazy pool (which loops through the whole park, and goes through a synthetic cave) the ice pool (brr!!) and the outdoor pool, which features a gigantic skull on top of a tower which tips over when it is full of water( the red lights beneath the skull and the bells signify when it tips) If you stayed late, you could see the fireworks from Everland. This is also a hot spot for Korean celebrities (though I've never encountered one), so hey, why not go take a look? Lots of couples, so I romantic place too. I hope you found this review helpful. And I assure you, my memories are surprisingly good. I remember things since I was two, so my review is pretty reliable. One negative : It does get pricy

Carribean Bay has many great rides althought u have to wait a while its fun and worth it. and the water is clean the water slides are long and fun and its a perfect place to go on hot days so if you get the chance go !! :)

We visited the waterpark expecting it to be as fun and entertaining as it has been advertise by various idols only to be disappointed. Of course it was a good place to visit and have fun but overall it wasnt a great as we thought it to be. There arent as many rides and attractions. It's wroth visiting but its not something to get excited for. Korean waterparks and theme parks have nothing on American theme parks. Sorry but its true.

I went one time you know water ways but this time not that good.I went at 1;30 and got to ride only 3 rides and those rides where not that fun the other rides where closed.And I spent lots of time in the wave pool and the waves wernt even that big this time.The people who worked there said Carribean Bay closed At 6;00 but all the rides and the pool closed at 4;00.I cant blame Carribean Bay its the time. I got there so late the person who drove me there took 2;00 too get there. And I wanted to go at 9;00 clock but we had to eat to go to the bank and plus we dint hurry.The people i went with took some time shoping when it was 12;00 and the driver took long to get to us.

I love caribbean bay because i love water slides and there water slides are so cool and heart stopping. In a good way thanks i love this place.Im coming back this summer and this time i am trying every ride and things. while I am at caribbean bay I am also going to try ever land.Caribbean bay this water park rocks. But at the ground i slipped two times because the flour was so slippery. But it was awesome. All the money was worth going there.So who ever reading this go to caribbean bay if you have time.

For the most part, everything about this water park was great. Awesome rides, good food, great people, and a very energetic atmosphere. My friends and I went expecting to stand in lines for hours to get on the slides, but turned out we waited an average of 30-45 minutes per ride. Not too bad at all! The rides are intense and most of them will get your heart racing. By the end of the day when everyone is beat, you can relax in the lazy river, floating on tubes, enjoying the serene surroundings. If it gets cold in the evenings, there are multiple hot tubs and saunas to use in the indoor area of the park. Also there are lots of beautiful people here at this park... great eye candy! I would just wish the admission price was a little less expensive, but I really can't complain, we had a good time.

My husband and I had so much fun. It was $65 a person -$50 for(3-12yrs) $55 after 1500.There was a lot to do, we couldn't do all in 8 hours. Go early the park opens at 7:30am. and closes at 8:30pm. I would recommend if you have children that they would be older (7 and up) so you can get the most for your money and they will be able to enjoy it. They do have a kiddie pool and things for younger children. Do not carry U.S. money.The park is well maintained and very clean. We went on a rainy Saturday in the beginning of August.and the lines were long (over 2 hour wait) but worth every minute for the water slides. they have 3 water slides that are over 100 feet long. Also there is a crazy water slide roller-coaster that is a 10 minute ride and is so worth the wait in the line. A wave pool, you have to wear a life jacket if you go in the deep end. A boogie board ride, for a minute and 20 seconds of showing off your skills. A lazy river that is about a mile long, and goes inside and out.there are water slides that are both inside and out. So much FUN!!! And so much to do. They have wrist bands that you wear, so you don't loose your money that you have an option of putting 20,50 or $100, on the band. There is Korean food and American food that is reasonably priced. You can rent a life jacket but is NOT required and you only have to wear a hair cap on 2 rides i believe. You can purchase a water proof carrier for $15 up to a $30 carrier to hold your camera , cigarettes, anything small and valuable, best $15 i ever spent. The park has a Tuscan theme and is beautiful. ENJOY~~~

I liked everything about it. The rides were great. There were plenty of rides for young kids. Food was great, too. Good prices. I highly recommend it.

Caribbean Bay is a fantastic water park. There's slides, saunas, wave pools and over 20 spas! The location is beautiful.It's surrounded by hills. We sent 5 hours there, but we could have stayed all day. The food is reasonably priced if you have a burger, but there are more expensive restaurants. You are not permitted to take your own food in. The set up is excellent, well organized and absolutely spotless. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Remember to take a swimming cap as it's required to wear one in most areas and on the slides. Most Koreans can't swim,so if you want to go in the deep end of the wave pool, you need to hire a life jacket. I would definitely go back, it's the best water park I've been to! It's fun fun fun!
