Description
Established in 1998, this 8,948 square-meter park offers a good view of historic sites such as Kyungbok-kung Palace, Kwanghwamun Gate and the four main mountains located within Seoul. In the southern part of the park is an area to rest and relax that features ponds and lots of greenery. In the center of the park is a venue for the performing arts. An interesting service is a 24-hour telephone hot line connected to the mayor's office. Residents and visitors alike can air their thoughts about the running of the park. Besides Korean, both English and Japanese messages are acceptable.
