Children's Grand Park, Seoul

I think it is not good place to visit. though it has very nice garden, here has old and small themepark. it was mistake. Seoul has not such a thing that you want to see it in Asia. Beijing is better, Tokyo is better. But Seoul has two good point that Beijing and Tokyo have. Seoul seems like in Tokyo and in Beijing. If you are rich or white skin man, Seoul is perfect! you can enjoy party,party, and party. Seoul has good reasons to be visited. Come Seoul!

I only got about 20 metres into the park before i was kicked out for having a dog. There was a picture outside on the information board (in Korean) of a dog and a poop with an X - I figured this meant don't leave poop but it actually means don't bring a dog. :( So this is a public park that doesn't allow dogs.

I live right next to the Children's Grand Park, and must I say, how convenient it is! This park is really really big with so many things to do inside! There's, of course, the typical basketball courts, tennis court, a track & field, numerous jungle gyms, exercise equipment, and beautiful nature. The thing is, it also has an amusement park, a zoo, a botanical garden, a water fountain show, concert halls, art sculptures, food joints, and music playing throughout the park. I really recommend this park if you want alone time with your partner, or if you have children, this is a nice place to bring them. Also just for chilling with your friends, or evening wanting to have a picnic, this is the place.

i had lived 5 minutes walk from Grand's Children Park.Basicly i could visit it everyday,due to really hot weather in Summer,it was really good to walk under the shade of trees or cool shower from fountains.Hovwer the best thing about it,was having that quitness there,which gave big satisfaction though i were in the middle of Seoul.will be coming back in Xmas time:) POPOX

This is a GREAT deal as far as zoos/parks go! Although the sea lion/dolphin show is a little small, it is very affordable and amusing to the younger set. Kids also love the Insect museum! Parents will enjoy the cable car ride over the park. And everyone will LOVE the dancing flamingos! Make sure to bring your own picnic foods! You will find the food choices here SEVERELY limited to cafeteria-quality Korean foods and 7-11 snack bags. Plan on a full day here. It takes a good 50 minutes from central Seoul and is a very large park. (and a long walk from the train station.. try the bus!)
