Mediocre food, shotty service

My husband and I went here for a Sunday brunch. The buffet was not well maintained in terms of temperature, the hot dishes were not on top of heaters, and the desserts were not over ice. This resulted in the appetizers being served at room temperature, and the deserts not being as cold as they should have been. The appetizers and desserts were mediocre in taste you can get something tastier for half the price elsewhere in Tokyo. Our main dish was good, Australian rib eye, and the service was good during our main meal (but not great). For dessert they move everyone into the lounge area, where sat nearer the live band. It was then that the service went from great to horrible. We ordered one coffee and one cappuccino with our dessert, but the wait staff seemed to disappear once we entered the lounge. We had to flag down a waiter and ask (again) for our coffee. Then they dropped off the bill at our table, but no coffee. More time went by and we tried to find another waiter, but no one were servicing the lounge. Then one coffee was served, but without cream, and the cappuccino was no where in sight. More time went by and we had to flag down yet another waiter to ask for the cappuccino. I dont know what all they hype is about, there are better buffets in Tokyo with views and better food and better service. If you feel you must experience the Park Hyatt, go to the 41st floor and order tea. Its much cheaper and with the same view.
