as a person who visit india allot, i find this restaurant as the best in tokyo, keeping the originat indian tuch of spice. very friendly service.

The NAN and chicken dishes were great , even their tikkas are good. The ambience was good and people warm. tried the lassi and it was good. Wish there was parking space , to facilitate takeouts in the night

Fake Indian

The attitude and outlook of this Indian restaurant is NOT GOOD, its not warm, and its not true to its India roots. The food is below average, and its a totally avoidable place. An Indian restaurant that does not appreciate and acknowledge the " Indian ness" of running a Indian food restaurant is a like not getting your basics right. I will not go there again.

worst one

It is the worst Indian restaurent I experienced. The owner/manager was a real cunning guy and was trying to restrict things while we went for a buffet dinner.Then why are they announcing buffet-not sure. At the same time he was telling:" what all I want is, you must eat a lot". Funny.

MY FAVORITE INDIAN SPOT

I love this PLACE...everything is great and the food is excellent!!!! Thats all I can say!!!Its great for entire families or even just a quick stop for a bite to eat. And since my last visit in 1998, thier locations have practically doubled.

Hope to have it again one day

We lived in Tokyo for 3 years and are now remembering with fondness our weekly trips to Samrat. We have not found Indian food anywhere else (U.S. and China) that can compare!
