This is a perfect place to come with a friend; at night it is full of groups of women doing just that. The restaurant opened in 1990 and serves traditional French dishes, such as confit du canard and escargot. Also on offer are some Japanese-inspired creations like a tasty marinated renkon (root vegetable), tomato and potato salad. Lunch courses start from JPY1,000, while dinner begins at JPY2,500. JPY500 will get you a glass of wine, or you can choose a bottle from the nice selection of reasonably priced wines.
This restaurant was amazing! The set menu in the evening is 2100 yen, and it includes three courses of real, down to earth French food. I couldn't believe I was in Tokyo. The restaurant itself is filled with atmosphere. It's nothing fancy, but it is definately a romantic hideaway in Tokyo. It was a little hard to find, but it was worth the walk.
