House of India, Concord

My wife and I have gone several times now, and probably will go again tonight. The food is very tasty, and the prices reasonable. The Lamb Vindaloo is great (careful, it's a bit spicy), and my wife always gets a mild lamb dish, like the Lamb Curry.

My wife and I love House of India. The food is always absolutely delectable. The waitstaff is always courteous and professional. My kids like the tandoori chicken. My favorite is . . . well, I've loved everything I've tried there so far. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet. It doesn't have some of the polished, focus-group friendly, touches that you'll find in chains or larger establishments, but the family run feel is a nice and the authenticity comes through in the richly flavorful dishes served. I highly recommend it.

My family and I stopped in on a whim while driving home from the Lakes. Since moving to NH, we have been looking for Indian food comparable to what we fell in love with while living in London. This is it!! My daughter requested sweet naan; our server overheard and produced some of the best we've had. They used dried cherries in place of raisins. Excellent. I also ordered a favorite dish that was not on the menu. The kitchen was able to make it for me. Now I have to think of reasons to return to Concord so I can stop in for for wonderful Indian food!

I've been to some of the best Indian places in UK and this place tops them. Quaint place right off the main street in Concord. Food exquisiste. Service helpful and kind. After rseveral visit, they've never let me down, and I'll be back again.

One of the worst experiences of eating food. We had a great day and everything was spoiled with this resturants of dinner. First of all there was no welcome reception from the staff, secondly waiters were very rude and dont know how to behave with customers, waiters didn't knew what dish he was serving, water served was pathetic, they don't know in which order the dinner course has to be served, Food wasn't cooked properly and when asked in a very rude we were said that it will be like this and if you want you can eat or else throw it yourself.

I dream about saag from the House of India: it's the best I ever tasted!
