My husband and I went here on a cold, wintery night. Sitting in front of the cooking station with the hot flames warming us was a nice treat. The miso soup was just ok, a bit on the weak side in my experience. The salad was not very good as it reminded me of salad from a bag, but the dressing had a nice ginger flavor. However, the sushi was excellent and very fresh(we had Tuna, salmon and eel). The shrimp tempura was quite nice and very light. Our main dishes were delicious and the portions quite large. (Lobster tails and Filet). The chef was very entertaining and the staff is very attentive. Other than the cooking stations, the atmosphere in the dining room and bar are very tired. They need a pretty severe facelift which would bring in a more diverse clientele. This is a fun restaurant for families, and casual dates, but not for those trying to make a lasting impression on a first date.
I went there for the first time a couple days ago and it was delicious. I had chicken, steak and also some tempura. Everything was great! The chef was fun, although bad aim with throwing the zuchini, and he dropped his utensil on the grill a time or two. I wasn't a huge fan of the soup or the salad, but I'm picky (I don't like ginger much, or mushrooms). The steak was absolutely perfect though. Also, the prices are pretty decent.
My husband and I went here with a party of 35 the other weekend and had a wonderful time! The atmosphere is good and the staff is very friendly. We do not eat sushi so we cannot speak to how good that is but others in our party said it was very good. We had the steak and shrimp meal and the steak was wonderful! Also, their fried rice is very very good. The food was great and it is a really fun place to go, we will definatley be returning!
Not the type of restaurant you would wanna go to. The food is not great at all. The service was good and when you see the chefs cooking was good too. But the food was just not great. Not the type of place you would wanna go to. The sushi wasn't that great either.
