This California style Mexican restaurant is a great stop for those looking for a fine meal in a beautiful atmosphere. Centered in the heart of Kuta, it provides a peaceful retreat. Choose from traditional Tex-Mex food like mole and tostadas or try something a little more imaginative like the eggplant and feta cheese enchiladas. For a taste of California, try a wrap filled with a variety of different ingredients. Its full bar includes one of the best margaritas on the island. Save room for some sinfully rich desserts. the mexican food has been aussiefied to cater to the customers that most frequent this restaurant. having crown up and lived in mexico for 3 years, i believe we speak with some expertise...no real salsa and no hot sauce. were told that aussies do not like spicy foods... would only recommend for someone who is NOT intimate with real mexican cuisine.

Early can be a little surly

Staying at Poppies we strolled across to TJ's for breakfast to find most of the staff asleep on the loungers and yawningly reluctant to serve, but like Sleeping Beauty's awakening the place and the atmosphere were transformed by nightfall. Not an adventurous menu, but great presentation, quality and quantity at a reasonable price. Attentive and friendly staff. Top Margaritas, but the Cappucinos defeated them - new coffee machine. Tj's is fantastic..must do everytime I visit, the food is delicous (a great change from rice - although that is so good to!!) I loved it..and im fussy. great food great staff great drinks great atmosphere 10/10

We always make it to TJ's at least once during our trip!

The food is consistantly good. Very cold beer, great Margarita's. Great ambiance. You can lounge on the couches just for drinks. We've spent hours reading and drinking mid day when it's too hot to move and do anything else.
