With only about 13 tables, you need to make sure you come early to this relatively small restaurant. In addition, it is well patronized by Japanese tourists. Enjoy fresh sashimi, sushi, tempura or miso soup at very affordable prices. (Around IDR45,000 per person). You will also find a selection of grilled and fried dishes, soba udan and robatu, together with teriyaki and yakitori grills on the menu. As for drinks, enjoy sake, beer or soft drinks. A corkage charge of IDR20,000 applies.Additional Branches: Sanur, Legian, Ubud.

Absolutely Wonderful!!!

My hubby and I were in Bali just over a week ago. Stayed there for 5 days and ate at Ryoshi 5 times! We are jap food fans so we tried out Ryoshi on our previous trip to Bali as it was recommended by our hotel concierge. We went there once and was hooked! Ingredients were fresh and deliciously prepared...Price was very affordable. About US25 for 2 persons - and we ordered sashimi and whatever our heart desired at each meal. MUST try the butter fish (Shiro) sashimi and very fatty tuna. The butter fish simply melts in your mouth! We loved the breaded oyster too....Ummm...thinking about it makes my mouth water! Their garlic beef steak was also very yummy... For dessert, you will like the red bean and macha ice cream. Vey authentic.. Because of the great food and price, we went back everyday! You gotta try it to believe it! The Ryoshi in Kuta also serves the same menu but somehow pales in comparison with the Seminyak outlet. My advice - stick to the Seminyak outlet...

Soft-shell Tempurah from Heaven

We tried many Japanese restaurants in Kuta. All were great but the Ryoshi ist just fantastic. Prices are a little higher than usual on Bali but compared to Europe or the States this is still dirt cheap. We'll be there in three weeks...
