Description

Run by French chefs, Kafe Warisan is said to be the classiest restaurant outside a five-star hotel. Dine here and enjoy a stunning view over rice paddies. Dishes include salmon and tuna tartare, escargot in roasted mushrooms and homemade foie gras for entrees. For mains choose from oriental lamb soup, duck confit or grilled Tasmanian salmon. Finish off with a mouthwatering dessert of crème brulee or chocolate mousse. The menu changes frequently. The drink list includes French wines, cocktails and a range of non-alcoholic beverages. Champagne goes for around IDR80,000. If you decide to bring your own wine, corkage is about IDR15,000. Average cost per person: IDR130,000

hair in food, no apology

we found a hair in the salad. Showed to waitress for reporting to kitchen. But,kitchen denied. Then, what a coincident, found another piece of hair melted in cheese in the burger. We asked apology from chef. But chef was did not want to see us. Very bad etiquette and no respect to customers. This incident should never happen to a French restaurant. We will never come back to "hairy" and snobbish Warisan. If you go there, watch out for hair in the food.

still excellent

as far as Bali goes this place is still excellent. Dinner is certainly more romantic than lunch. Staff are generally great. I hop ethey can retain there rice paddy views

Still the Best

Warisan may not be the trendiest anymore but it is still the best. Warisan has become an institution over the years and deserve the respect. It has not fallen into the trap of becoming a trendy place where the food is average and the price is high (e.g. Kudeta). They focus on serving the best food in a good atmosphere and an impeccable service at a fair price.

delicious salmon

The ambience was wonderful, the staff a little surly, could have been more congenial. The food was wonderful and an excellent wine list.
