Goodfellas Bar, Shanghai

Opened in 1996, Goodfellas is one of the oldest bars in town. Most of the clientele are male expatriates, who feel more comfortable in this down-to-earth environment (simple wood furnishings and friendly staff that does not fuss around) than in the other fancier establishments. The bar is known for its huge collection of CDs, most of it older style rock. They do not serve food, but you can find snacks right outside at the hot dog stand, or buy a pizza at the Yellow Submarine outlet up the street. Happy Hour is 6pm to 9pm daily.
