Gongdelin Vegetarian Restaurant, Shanghai

I'm a strict vegetarian and actually I was concerned that as this was my first time in China, I would have great difficulty in observing my eating habit and I was prepared with the worst, eating cookies, snacks for food. Things turns out pretty good. On my first night in Shanghai, I was directed to Gongdelin by Yoyoor, my mobile rented in China, and I totally enjoyed the experience there. I was really impressed that Chinese take so much effort to prepare vegetables in so many different ways, all beautifully presented and tastes amazing.

I like this place because it keeps the chinese dishes with vegetarian ingredients, besides you can order meat or fish but they are vegs made. Very funny. The crab meat is amazing, made by carrots, tofu and other veggies, but really looks and taste like crab!!! :-) The chinese style forniture and decoration is very nice. Alessandro

I'm not a vegetarian at all. But if you're looking for something different, definitely try this restaurant. Whether you're a vegetarian or not, it has something for everyone.

The best Vgetarian Resaurant that I have ever been to. I ate plants that I had never heard of and enjoyed it all. A must go for Gourmet eaters.
