Yu Yuan Tan Park
Description
This park is located alongside the Ba Yi Lake, providing a green respite from urban Beijing. During the summer, many Beijing residents come to the park to enjoy the 'Water World'. The large lake offers pleasant opportunities for rowing and served as the site for the first rowing competition between Tsinghua University and Peking University. The petting zoo with it's goats, ducklings, and dogs in the 'Animals Land' is also popular with families.
