Description
The Songshan Forest Tourist Area is part of the Songshan (Mount Song) Nature Reserve. It is located in the northwest part of Yan Qing County, 90 kilometers from downtown Beijing. There are more than 30 scenic spots in the area, including Mount Hai Tuo, which at 2,199.6 meters is the second highest peak in the Beijing area. Other favorite spots include the natural pine forest, Bai Pu Spring, Fairy Cave, Song Yue Pool and Flying Dragon Cliff. The local hot springs are worth checking out.
