Bei Hai Park, Beijing

The 31 st Chrysanthemum Festival of Beijing City that starts from November 1 has turned Beihai Park of Beijing into a paradise of floral. it last from Nov 1 to Nov 21 Every year there are chrysanthemum exhibitions in the major parks of Beijing. Among those exhibitions, the most famous is the Chrysanthemum Exhibition in Beihai Park It has been held for more than 20 consecutive sessions. The chrysanthemum show mainly featured Pinzhong Chrysanthemum, Cliff Chrysanthemum, Desk Chrysanthemum, Bonsai Chrysanthemum and flower art exhibition. In addition, there are some flower contests. Tourists can vote for their favorite flowers

Beihai Park is a beautiful place. We went during Nationals Week, so that was a mistake. It was heavily populated, so that detracted from the fun. I think that if it had been during a different time, it would have been a more fun experience. Be sure to visit! Plus, the Hutongs are nearby, and those are fun, too. Get a taste of real Chinese life.

Beihai park is a nic place to spend a couple hours. The lakes, temples, and walkways make it a very pleasant place to stroll around. There is often a lot of activity from water calligraphy, dancing, an boating. Grab some beverages and rent an electric boat for an hour, or climb to the white dagoba for great vriews of the park and city.

Beihai is one of the most well-built imperial garden in China. The plants and the architectures come together creating a paradise on earth. The scenes in the park are based on the view of Southern China. The emperors went to live in the park every year during summer during the old days.
